IBTF is adding something new to the 2026 World Freestyle Championship.  
IBTF is adding A Level Freestyle Teams for a Nations Cup!

Allocation:	Countries may send: One (1) Nations Cup Junior Freestyle Team One (1) Nations Cup Senior Freestyle Team
Content Restriction:	Must follow the A Level Content Restrictions for Teams.
Age Category:	Age category is based on Freestyle Pair rules. Junior: Athletes who will be 12 years of age to 17 years of age during the year of the World Freestyle Championship, from January 1 through December 31. All athletes must be Junior age. ​Senior: Athletes who will be 18 years of age or older during the year of the World Freestyle Championship, from January 1 to December 31.  Exception:  Junior athletes may compete in senior team. There is no maximum age limit  of Senior team members.​
Members:	A team will consist of a minimum of six (6) members and a maximum of eight (8) members and two (2) alternate members. ​The team may consist of members of both sexes, if so desired. A Junior athlete competing in a Nations Cup Junior Freestyle team, cannot also be a member of a Nations Cup Senior Freestyle Team. Members of a Freestyle Team competing in the World Championship cannot be a member of a Freestyle Team competing in the Nations Cup.

World Championship

Freestyle Solo: Men Junior, Women Junior, Men Senior, Women Senior (4 per country, per division) Freestyle Pair: Junior, Senior (1 per country, per division) Freestyle Team: 1 per country, 1 division

Opening Ceremony Round 1: 2.5 days Round 2: 1 day Awards/Closing Total Time: 4 days
