What can every community Sport for All organization do to ensure they have a safeguarding culture? How easy can safeguarding be made in a community, non-competitive and volunteer-led sport environment?
Find out on September 22 during a webinar hosted by The Association for International Sport for All (TAFISA).
About the webinar:
Safeguarding on paper means having policies, reporting mechanisms, codes of conduct and designated responsibilities. Safeguarding in practice means that people understand them, trust the reporting process, recognize unsafe behavior, know how to respond and see leaders act consistently. This webinar will explore how leadership behavior, power, trust and organizational culture determine whether safeguarding policies actually work. This webinar is for volunteers, sports administrators, leaders, students and parents.
